Frequently Asked Questions
What is Acroyoga?
Acroyoga is a partner practice that combines yoga, acrobatics, and therapeutics. It creates community, builds trust, strengthens communication, and reminds us how to play!
I’ve never done Acroyoga. Can I still come?
Absolutely! During every session there are classes for all Acroyoga levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced) as well as therapeutics! Other topics (Handstands, etc) will be scattered throughout the day as well.
Where is the festival located?
How do I get there?
We highly recommend taking the CTA (Ashland Green or Pink Line) or carpooling as much as possible. If you must drive, there is a good amount of street parking, some of which is free - just make sure to read the signs!
Where can I stay during the festival?
Will there be food and beverages at the festival?
Water will be available as well as limited beverages and snacks from our sponsors. Plan on bringing your own snacks and beverages to stay well nourished and hydrated during the festival.
Can I volunteer or apply for a work study position?
We offer a discounted ticket in exchange for volunteer services. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to volunteer.
Should I bring my own yoga mat?
Sure! We’ll be providing gymnastic mats for the classes, but feel free to bring your own mat to have handy if you like. No mat? No problem!
What should I bring to the festival?
Bring yourself, clothes you can move it, and an eagerness to learn! These things might also come in handy if you’ve got ‘em: yoga mat, reusable water bottle, snacks, money for lunch, blanket (for Thai massage), chalk
